1. Who We Are

MENTISGO is an international education platform providing services including student counselling, university selection, admission application assistance, scholarship guidance, visa documentation support, loan facilitation, accommodation, and pre-departure/post-arrival support.

2. Information We Collect

We may collect the following categories of information:

Personal Information

Full name, date of birth, gender, nationality, passport details, photo, address, email address, and telephone numbers.

Academic Information

Educational history, transcripts, degrees, mark sheets, CGPA, English test results (IELTS, TOEFL, PTE, Duolingo, etc.), standardized tests, essays, LORs, and CVs.

Financial Information

Where required for admissions or visa purposes: bank statements, sponsorship documents, financial guarantees, and education loan/scholarship details. MENTISGO does not store payment card information.

Immigration Information

Passport, visa documents, immigration records, biometric details, and travel history.

Technical Information

IP address, browser type, device details, session information, cookies, and website usage analytics.

3. How We Collect Information

Information may be collected through registration forms, counselling sessions, online applications, live chat, WhatsApp, emails, partner institutions, expat events, and third-party integrations.

3a. WhatsApp Communications

MENTISGO uses the official WhatsApp Business Platform (operated by Meta) as a customer-support and counselling channel through our published number, +92 334 8880859. When you message us on WhatsApp, or submit a form on this website and give explicit consent, we may send you messages and (where available) place voice calls regarding counselling, admissions, and application support.

Consent.We only initiate WhatsApp contact after you have explicitly agreed to the statement "I agree to receive WhatsApp messages and calls from MENTISGO regarding counselling, admissions and application support," or after you have messaged us first. You may withdraw consent at any time by telling us in the conversation or by contacting privacy@mentisgo.com; we will stop business-initiated contact once withdrawal is recorded.

Employee access. Authorized MENTISGO staff access a shared support inbox to view and reply to conversations assigned to them, using their own individual login — no staff member is given the underlying WhatsApp account credentials, the SIM, or any one-time passcodes for the number itself. Access can be revoked for any staff member at any time.

Records kept. We keep a record of message content, timestamps, delivery/read status, the staff member who handled a conversation, and (where calling is used) call direction, duration, and outcome, for the retention period described in Section 9.

Meta as a processor. Message and call delivery is provided by Meta Platforms, Inc. through the WhatsApp Business Platform, which processes the content of your messages/calls under its own terms and privacy policy as our data processor for that channel. Free replies vs. paid outreach.Meta's policy distinguishes free customer-service replies (sent within 24 hours of your last message to us) from business-initiated template messages and calls, which may be a chargeable service on our side — this does not change any pricing for you as a student, but is disclosed here for transparency about how the channel operates.

4. Purpose of Processing

We process personal information to recommend universities, submit applications through platforms like coursefinder.ai, communicate with universities, facilitate scholarships/visas, verify identity, and prevent application fraud.

5. Legal Basis for Processing

We process information based on consent, performance of a contract, compliance with legal obligations, or legitimate business interests.

6. Sharing of Information

Your info is shared with universities, colleges, visa processing platforms like coursefinder.ai, immigration departments, and support service providers. We do not sell or rent info for third-party marketing.

7. International Data Transfers

As part of international admissions, data may be transferred outside your country. We implement reasonable safeguards during these transfers.

8. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to safeguard personal information against loss, unauthorized access, or misuse.

9. Data Retention

We retain personal information only for as long as necessary to provide our services, meet contractual requirements, or comply with legal obligations. WhatsApp conversation and call records are retained for as long as your counselling relationship with MENTISGO is active, and for a limited period afterward for support-quality and dispute-resolution purposes, after which they are deleted or anonymized.

10. Cookies

MENTISGO uses cookies to improve website performance, remember user preferences, analyze traffic, and enhance security.

11. Marketing Communications

With consent, we may send newsletters, admission intakes updates, scholarship listings, and events info. You can unsubscribe at any time.

12. Your Rights

You may request to access, correct, delete, or restrict the processing of your personal information, subject to legal limits.

13. Children's Privacy

We do not collect information from minors without appropriate parental or legal guardian consent.

14. Third-Party Websites

We are not responsible for the privacy practices, content, or security of external websites linked on our portal.

15. Fraud Prevention

We use information to verify identities and document authenticity. Suspected fraud is shared with universities, testing bodies, and immigration departments in accordance with applicable laws.
